An Iraqi’s Voting Guide
Hat’s off to Chrenkoff for his, but this one has that personal touch.
A man in Baghdad (Najma’s Uncle Ahmed) debates with himself whether or not to vote on Sunday. He’s reading the Hitchhiker’s Guide, too, so he must be deeply intelligent and full of witty insight.
A telling paragraph:
Moreover, all the above discussion assumes that the results will not be tampered with, something that many doubt and say that the results are pre-set and have decided not to vote accordingly.
A byproduct of living with Saddamm’s 100% victories? Or a legitimate worry separate from that, shared amongst many Iraqis?
Anyway, read the whole thing. It’s terribly interesting.
