I remember HW Bush saying a couple months ago, while discussing his sons (the post-election issue of Time, perhaps?) that the year Jeb was up for reelection, the Democrat National Machine aimed itself squarely at him, and decided that he was the most important target. I guess, a year before he’s retired from his job, they’re finally getting their wish.
