I read an article years ago about how the UN's aid group or women's group or whatever is so keen on Women's Rights which basically means abortion rights that they wouldn't give any aid, or not much of it, to a country that didn't take a very pro-abortion stance. In traditionalist Africa. So it was causing all sorts of problems especially for women that might like enough calories in their diets that they can do small things like breast feed their infants, and maybe aren't really all that immediately concerned with a woman's right to choose.

You know Amnesty's about to declare that women have a universal human right to abortion? Which is a bit rich considering it was founded by a Catholic.
