So Hugh Hewitt’s playing tape from that now-infamous interview Bill Clinton did with Chris Wallace yesterday:

“The FB-Ah and the C-Ah-A refused to cer-tiff-ahhh”

Anyway, Bill Clinton has a strong Arkansas accent. I don’t know if this is how he talks in private, but it’s thick, and I don’t see how an Arkansas accent isn’t as stupid sounding as a Texas accent is.

Meanwhile, I’m reading a novel by Val McDermid (an author not likely to be fond of George Bush, so any mention of will make me nervous, since I like her), which contained this line, which got a good laugh out of me:

“I warn you, I am to DIY what George Bush is to the philosophy of language.”
