Geekzone - Logitech Introduces DiNovo Edge Bluetooth Keyboard
Logitech says it is more than a keyboard, it is a minimalist work of high-technology art. The company is introducing the Logitech diNovo Edge keyboard.
The new keyboard comes with a high-gloss finish, is laser cut from a single, semi-translucent piece of black Plexiglas and set into a brushed-aluminum frame. Backlighted icons embedded within the keyboard are part of the design. And they are invisible when not illuminated.
Ony 3/4 inches (19.05 mm) thick, the diNovo Edge is Logitech’s first rechargeable keyboard, features an integrated touch-sensitive navigation and scroll panel, and includes embedded Bluetooth wireless technology.
The keyboard also shows a reduced number of seams and buttons, offering touch-sensitive technology and controls that are flush with the keyboard surface, and using dynamic soft-orange backlighting behind the single Plexiglas panel.

October 3rd, 2006 at 3:02 pmIs it OK for touch-typing? The keys need a decent amount of travel and good touch. I worry about these “flat” keyboards in that respect, although they do generally have spilt drink resistance, which is good.
