Germany steps into a role in Afghanistan taking it into a combat place it hasn’t been in since losing WWII (about which I can find no story on Google News, though there’s 691 about that skull), German soldiers act like soldiers by doing silly things with skulls, and now Mozart lovers are standing up for their artistic right to see Mohammed beheaded.

All aimed at a deployable force of 14,000, from a force of ummmm…. 250,000 or so. Very serious tooth to tail ratio here.

Tooth to Tail = Bang for Buck.
The percentage of an army that kills people and breaks things, burns villages, desolates countryside, etc. Best efficiency was back in the 30 Years (it seemed longer) War.
