They rarely need to, since they’re mainly sober souls. Altho I would expect a Mormom passerby to dive right in, but they’re usually asleep that time of the night.

You should have seen some of the stuff Sen. Kennedy came up with about Romney’s religion in 1994; my favorite was “Mormons won’t allow women to become priests” — quite humorous considering Kennedy’s religion.

Are you serious? That was his distinguishing selling point making him palatable to us Religious Types. “He’s a mormon, so he’s a moderate!” “Oh, okay, in that case we don’t think the Democrats are godless at all.” “Good, gooood. [looks around] Oh my god! A mormon! Let’s get ‘im!”

I’d completely forgotten Harry Reid was LDS.
