		<description>&lt;p&gt;Well, one would hope they're not ONLY tearing down cultural artifacts.  I mean, all cities have a lot of available crap to tear down for an Olympic sports arena.  400 year old opera houses aren't usually one of them.&lt;/p&gt;

		<description>&lt;p&gt;Wouldn´t surprise me at all, but read the comment below the article by one Edward A. Gargan who says that they are in fact tearing down a modern "monstrosity" from the 1960s. That should be verifiable. The truth is out there!&lt;/p&gt;
