But doubly worse after seeing this last night: They’re making a He-Man movie. Honestly I don’t think I can take the heartbreak.

We like to play “nightmare cast” when we´re bored. The trick is to come up with bad casting choices that are not implausible but make you shudder anyway. Happy to see that others are playing this game as well. Even professionals!

I love that game! The worst I’ve ever come up with I did here when I linked to something about how they couldn’t find any good enough actors in Botswana to do the movie of No. 1 Ladies Detective Agency
, “I guess they’ll use South Africans. Unless the producers are Americans. In which case we’ll get a couple Nigerians, one or two Congolese, a few Egyptians, a sprinkling of Algerians, and Halle Berry starring.”
It still freaks me out.
If Scartlett Johansson is Mary, then I’d say the Mary Jane chick’s gonna be Queen Elizabeth (after her star turn as Marie Antoinette. Justin Timberlake with a cameo as Dudley, aaaaaand… Sir Anthony Hopkins as wassisface… her half brother… doing a Scottish accent.
