Yeah I saw that too. It surprised me. But then maybe she isn't as sensitive to politics as I am.

Basically when any idiot in Hollywood who probably thinks that Nancy Pelosi is an ideal Catholic and when the pope and the US president meet that the relevant caption for the accompanying photograph is "both religious conservatives" starts telling me what I (not that I'm part of it but whatever) should like because she (or her like-minded associates) is gearing it towards me, I go right off of it.

I just noticed that Barb Nicolosi recommends Evan Almighty as "pure, broad, over the top, comedy fun with some nice theology alongside." And she's a sound person.

I gotta say, the Apple dictionary and thesaurus is really an exemplary piece of software for its ability to translate all of your Yiddish. Thanks to it, I don't miss anything!

The thought crossed my mind that his Jesus line was an oblique reference to the Mormons-as-Christians debate, although I think I might be over-thinking things a bit.

Don't mean to monopolize, but Noah is an Old Testament figure. Doesn't that make Evan Almighty a Jewish comedy? Evan is married to a shiksa, right? Cinches it.

I take Bubblehead's point, but can't resist pointing out that if "Jesus!" makes it a Christian flick, I'm pretty sure all the non-kiddie movies are Christian.
