That used to be my car I sold it to a nice gent in Quincy Fl who did nice by it. I go visit it at festivals and car parades. I stalk a couple other old cars of mine too. :)

When they first started making the All Creature series there were real 60s cars still on the road.
You need at least a 30-year gap for nostalgia to work properly.

There were some great old cars in the All Creatures series. Bit older than the 60s, though.

That looks wonderful, Half! Are you going to let us have more?

You could get into movies with a car like that. On British TV there's nowadays a vogue for nostalgia programmes about doctors or policemen working in picturesque bits of Yorkshire back in the 60s. When they started there were hardly any cars to be seen in these programmes, but the enthusiasts have been in touch with the producers and now there are lots. The thing is, though, that all the cars are in pristine condition which I can assure you they weren't back in the real 60s. And not a speck of rust to be seen - they just gleam, even when it's set in a wet winter.

Nostalgia baby-boomer style. Hmmmm.

Ew what an awful word to appear on my little blog...

And I dunno. Everyone we know pretty much already has one. Or else they're total Microsofties and wouldn't countenance the idea. Or else they just haven't gotten around to getting around to it. Who knows, really.

Peter thought it wouldn't work because his .mac account expired but iTunes still uses the old .mac account to login so when you set up your iPhone the first time it tries to contact the account you've set up with iTunes which in our case doesn't work anymore so he was sitting there thinking it would never work so I came over after 20 minutes of him sitting there moping and reading online forums about other people who took 48 hours and more to get theirs running and asked him if he tried to force it to start over and he said "If I could do that wouldn't I have done it already?" so I quit iTunes for him and restarted it and it worked and then he got mad at me. Heee heeeee.

Peter's totally lucky. Is it true the I-Phone cures acne? Not that either of you two have ever had a zit in your lives, but you could use it on your friends...
