"Can't think of anyone else I'm still reading now who I'm still reading now."

Meant to say "was reading then who I'm still reading now".

It's the short-term memory that's going....

"Alan Coren was the first columnist I ever read regularly, knew by name or went looking for."

Same for me, ninme. I started reading him 40 years ago last month - my school subscribed to "Punch". He was just the same then as now, he didn't become funnier over the years - his voice sounded exactly the same whether talking about the Swinging Sixties or Wossname Blair.

Can't think of anyone else I'm still reading now who I'm still reading now. Or who's still alive, come to think of it.
