Homeopath Blegh
So I’ve been sick to my stomach for a week now and I can’t take it anymore. Every time I start to feel better and eat something I feel like crap again. So, I’ve got a pretty widespread, geographically speaking, audience. So I thought, who better to ask for those international home remedies?
(Perhaps by morning you’ll all have cured me!)

I’ve done this before. This trick is not to eat anything until you are really, really better. Not just a little better. Orange juice is probably OK.

I find whisky sometimes kills bugs and certainly makes me feel better, but I reckon in this case Brett’s probably nearer the mark.
Poached/steamed fish is easily digestible.

Stomach Ache/Cramps • Cut some hair off from behind the right ear in the light of the moon. Then throw it over your right shoulder
• Lie across a barrel and roll until your hands touch the ground on one side, then push with your hands and roll back until your feet touch the ground on the other side. Repeat several times.
• A teaspoon of grounded ginger in a glass of sweetened boiling water, sipped while very hot is a cure for stomach pain.

Ah! A Witch doctor!
Actually, the yakisoba last Friday was nice because it had so much ginger in it. I don’t have any fish to steam, although I suppose I could look into that… But at this precise moment I’m feeling okay. Even slept through the night and everything. Sausages?!

Plain boiled potatoes and ice water, plenty of salt on the potatoes.
