The Scottish mutton pie (when eaten without cutlery, the grease runs down to your elbow).&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;That of course is the Scottish urban working-class's diet. It's possible to eat extremely well in the country. Though there's hardly any worthwhile charcuterie anywhere.&lt;/p&gt;
