Meanwhile, this is yet another test. Peter had the blog rebuilding all. night. long, because now it’s built… statically, whereas before it was… dynamically. So it should be faster. For you guys. For me trying to save an entry, it should be slow as hell. But since this bloody Movable Type 4 install, it’s been slow anyway so it’s sort of win-zero-sum. Couldn’t be win-win, eh?

Meanwhile, my email is still screwed up. You should be getting anything you try to send to me returned, but in case you aren’t, well I’m not getting it, so hold off a bit.

And, uh, yeah. More thrilling fiddling to come this afternoon.

Update: Well, Peter’s working hard on getting my email working, thoughit might not look good. He keeps muttering, “Yeah, I dunno.”

We went to Home Depot and left with a new doorknob/deadbolt set, finally. Then we went to an Ace Hardware and found a garage door opener, finally (another long story). If our Hardware store had been a tenth of this one, I’d have wept with joy and they wouldn’t have gone out of business.

We also went to the mall. We walked into the Hello Kitty store and I almost passed out. Then we went to the new Mango store (that Penelope Cruz and her sister designed a line for) and everything was 50 or 70% off. So I tried on half the store and only when I was done did Peter tell me his phone didn’t get a signal in there. I’m sorry, okay? But I love how I have to go to the only two Spanish stores in North America to find stuff that fits me.

Anyway, that’s enough iPhone typing.
