Decrepitude By the Numbers; or, I Hope McCain Laid Off the Cigars
Good grief:
Telegraph Blogs - Trail Mix - A word of warning for John McCain, by Alex Spillius
…[Castro] he may be the antithesis of everything McCain believes in but at 81, he is ten years older than the Arizona senator…
Okay, I haven’t thought of that.
But, so, if he’s been dead for three years, and McCain’s banking on being president for eight, that leaves McCain one year older than Fidel Castro.

Say what you will about Barbaro(?) he made the sugarcane grow on time.
Seriously, a bad man but a good leader.

Doesn’t the nature of the NYT slam job on McCain erase the age question?

Yeah the Times has a, ah, good one, about that. Which was of course the first thing I thought of, too.
There was also a joke about Bob Dole and why McCain doesn’t have to worry about his retirement should he lose this thing, but I decided to leave it alone.
