The Chinese system of Internet censorship and media propaganda may have a lot of holes, but when tested by events like the Tibet unrest this past week, so far it’s holding up well enough for the regime’s purposes.

Hey, I can see ninme again, and I’m still in China! In the Xi’An Sheraton. I can even get Tim Blair. Maybe the Sheraton have their own satellite uplink? See, you can get open internet in China, you just have to live in a five star, western hotel.
The net in Golmud (Western China, near the Tibet border) was blinking out at a rapid rate over the last few days. News sites and blog after blog, including Instapundit, was being blocked.
Hmm. No still no RC2, though. She must have been wery wery bad.
