I’m In Maui, Day 11!
After a fun weekend, we’re back (I’m back, Peter’s being dragged along) to doing useful stuff: lampshades, pillows, dishes, utensils, armchair, fake flowers, fake plants, cooking utensils, a jar to put them in, and other stuff like that.
But Twitter-readers will have noticed we went whale watching Friday night. Peter has all the better pictures on his big camera, but I’m not inflicting his raw image files upon this poor laptop. But here’s one I managed to take (without his high-speed shutter):

Pretty cool, huh? We saw LOTS of whales and had an open bar too. And yesterday we went snorkeling and I totally had to back away numerous times from the sea turtle I was so close to. And Seattle? It’s been snowing. I’m not kidding.

Looks like about a #5 Harpoon to me.

Awesome!! We usually miss such close sightings of whales in May. If you like grillin’ (you gotta have a grill on the lanai) or otherwise pan-cooking fish there’s a place called The Fish Market on the Lower Road in in Honokowai/Kahana. It’s just up about 100-yds. from the Star Market (on the corner, hang a left at the light). They serve up your choice of whatever fresh-caught fish in a mac-nut flour/butter (or something else) ready for baking or whatever else in a little tin. Amazingly good catch-of-the-day. Try the Opah.

5 harpoon!
Note to self: don’t take Half whale-watching. Especially not if he has his long duffel.

I took that picture from the Main Royal of a Saturn 9. It was re-enactment day day at the Cape.
Ima lying. The future isn’t going to get here.
