There are only two comments on recent events in Tibet?! Does the common man understand the horrific situation that Tibetans are stuck in? Most schools don't teach what has happened in Tibet. Most governments and leaders won't do anything to help Tibet because they are in bed with China. China occupying Tibet is like Hitler's Germany still occupying Poland, the Netherlands, Norway, etc. etc. This is the time period in history we are talking about when Mao's China illegally invaded Tibet! Hitler was responsilbe for about 12 million deaths. Mao was responsible for about 30 million deaths ...about 1 million of those in Tibet. For centuries Tibetian warriors protected Chinese rulers. Tibet was never a territory of China. China has no right to be in Tibet just as Hitler had no right to be in other European and African countries. Many countries pulled together to push Hitler's Germany out of the countries it brutally occupied. Who is going to help the people of Tibet?! As I've said, it won't be governments and world leaders. Common people like you and me will have to be the peaceful warriors to try to force change in Tibet. Change won't come easy. Look how China so quickly turns events to their advantage ... making it look like the Tibetans were doing the wrong in the recent events. I call on the common people of the world to stand up to China and to demand that they leave Tibet that it has illegally occupied for over fifty years. How can we do this? We can refuse to buy or use Chinese products. This includes not eating out at Chinese restaurants (this is a hard one for me. I like Chinese food.) We can encourage athletes and tourists to not attend the Olympics in Beijing this coming summer (again, governments and the Olympic commissioner won't boycott the games because they are in bed with the Chinese.) Common men and women must peacefully fight this battle until China leaves Tibet. Please tell me there is someone else out there that cares for Tibet and that will join the common men and women of the world in peacefully fighting for Tibets freedom.</p> Are you kidding?! It is time for the Chinese to leave Tibet. If China will not leave, the international community must take action. Not only should athletes not attend the olympics in Bejing, consumers worldwide must not buy or use Chinese products until China leaves Tibet. The international community stood by and watched as Tibet was invaded in the 1950s. The time has come. Free Tibet! The China propoganda machine will do all possible to try to make the Tibet problem go away. We, the international community, must not abandon the Tibetan people this time. Let us take action!
