I Was In Maui, Day 9!
I promised whale watching pics off of Peter’s camera. There are pictures of whales that were closer (ooh, were they closer!) but I liked this sequence cuz Peter had his finger down on the ol’ repeatin’ shutter:

And, while we were on that sunset whale watching cruise, with its open bar, mai tais, and plastic cups of champagne, and now that I’m home and have been to a jewelers to get it resized, if I may be permitted a small vanity for my left hand again:

Note the absence of a bandaged thumb. Ah, halcyon days.

Heehee. Thank you. And yes, Peter keeps asking if I’m going to “blog the wedding.” And why wouldn’t I? I don’t think I’m going to start a new blog, tho. Maybe if it gets ridiculous put it in a box like I did the Twitter? And not Las Vegas, though Peter keeps brining it up (short! sweet! cheap!), but the cute little white church in Menlo Park.
My left hand sure does see a lot of action, huh.

Oh, no that’s the one in New Jersey. There’s one in CA as well, I see. I don’t suppose anyone would travel to New Jersey to get married.

They tell me there are parts of New Jersey that are gorgeous. I haven’t seen any of them.

You would be wrong my friend. New Jersey is home of the “Wedding Palace.” Entire structures dedicated to nothing but hosting multiple over-the-top fantasy wedding receptions at a time.
I can vouch for their being parts of NJ that are gorgeous –it’s not “the Garden state” for nothing. But they aren’t the Wedding Palace parts.
