A dull knife is more dangerous than a sharp one actually! One of my pet-peeves about some of the condo units in which we've stayed has been the abysmally poor quality of their Kitchen tools - I mean some really-really awful and bendy crap-knives that wouldn't even peel an avocodo. I guess they worry about theft-loss, but on a couple of occasions we HAD to go to Ross and just get a cheap knife-block of "fresh" Faberware (or whatever), just to peel an orange or do ANYTHING.
