I’m Still In Maui, Day 20!
I just dropped Peter off at the airport. Well, I got up at 6.30, pulled staples out of the old chair upholstery till 7.30, got coffee at 7.45, tried to get in the hot tub at 8 but they were draining it, painted till 10, made some phone calls till 11, got in the hot tub and showered till 12, scraped a bit of the thin skin on the top of my right foot off on the stupid broken TV caddy we dragged down to the “Ohana Room” for someone in the staff to take home, got some lunch, whined about my foot, put some antibacterial cream (which we have plenty of this week) and a bandaid on it, had a guy fix the air conditioners and change the filters till about 3, drove Peter to Kahului, got him a sandwich, and dropped him off at the airport at 4.30, then went to a computer/hi-fi store to look for a shelf system they didn’t have, then went to Lowes for closet handles, then were to Posters Plus for some artwork, then went to Safeway for groceries, then dragged the groceries and one of the paintings up here after telling the guy at the front desk I have to stay longer. That’s what I just did. Now I’m going to have some Dragon Rolls from Safeway with a glass of wine after dragging the second painting up here.
I was supposed to leave tonight too, but there was no way I was going to finish in time. Slicing up one’s thumb tends to set one back, I guess. But we went to the Whaler Museum yesterday and here’s a picture of some harpoons for Half:

I think he’s right about that #5.
