One of the downsides to using WordPress rather than Moveable Type is the comments view. It tends to default to listing the whole comment, or else there’s a short view which doesn’t actually say where the comment is, so the blogger (that is, me) tends to get lazy and go for viewing the full comments all in a list in the comments tab. Which means that when Half’s on one of his tears through this sight, I sit there in stitches, but not having the actual blog open it’s easy to not leave replies all the time, and I’m afraid sometimes it might seem I don’t notice. But I do. Except for today because I was really busy over the weekend switching desks (we have a cabinet! a real desk cabinet! not just the old ikea dining table we’ve had since our first place together in philly!), then really busy working on stuff yesterday, then running around Los Altos today on three hours of sleep.
