Times Online - Tories claim victory for Boris Johnson

The Conservatives were increasingly confident this afternoon that massive Tory gains in local elections across England and Wales would be capped this evening by victory for Boris Johnson, their colourful candidate for London Mayor.

Hmmm, I don’t know. Outcome of the London vote due at 10pm. That’s in…6 hours.

Augh! I even gave them an extra hour!

The failure to produce a result initially expected in the early evening is an embarrassment for the vote organisers who admitted that computers used to count the votes simply could not cope with the level of turnout.

Yeah, the same turnout that delayed…Mugabe’s results! No, I kid, I kid. Or…do I?!
